cause im saving it for a self edit, youll see it there..
but how can you not see the parking lot, its about ahlf way up the heigh of the fence, an elevated parking lot.. so im more hoping only half the fence height, instead of the full fence height which youre thinking

creamsoda wrote

oh that's awesome. then go for it... deity stems are a good value.

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 15:02
good choice. how much is the deity though? if it's over 60 bucks i'd personally look for a used thomson.

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 14:15
thomson, sunline, ns, deity, truvativ, most companies have good stems. for some reason black market messed up, and spank stems are literally a copy of the underboss so stay away from that too.

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 13:54
stay far away from black market stems, but their handlebars are great.

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 13:54
don't know why everyone wants a black market stem. those things are actually terrible, the bolts strip and round out, get stuck in the stem and etc. crs-one hates his, and many others too. if you want wide bars then i'd suggest the black market bars, or sunline though. make sure you get a good rise, unless you want a super low front end with the atlas frs.

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 13:45
oh lol. do you like the rise and width though? i'm personally looking at the 28" wide, 3" tall, 10 deg. backsweep ns proofs.

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 13:14
also, i bought my stem used, as long as they're in good condish it's all good

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 13:14
lol, what's wrong with the guidounes?

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 12:23
yup, i would go lighter than a holzfeller but if you can get a good deal on it then it's a solid choice. atlas might be a little too low rise for most. though...

if you're used to the guidounes i'd suggest NS Proofs.

creamsoda wrote
Nov 18, 2009 at 12:19
you can save a whole bunch of weight going to a normal mtb bar and stem. for reference, your stem weighs about 266 grams and your bars weigh around 645 g. even an average weight bar and stem combo like mine, not especially light, weighs 442g less (that's 0.97 pounds). the rest of your build is solid
